Law enforcement officials are investigating allegations that a teacher with Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District took inappropriate photographs of his students.

The teacher allegedly used his cellular phone to take pictures beneath the dresses of two of his students in class at Arnold Middle School at 11111 Telge in Cypress on May 28, said Harris County Constable Precinct 4 Chief Mark Herman.

The teacher was placed on administrative leave with pay, district officials said.

No charges have been filed and the teacher's name has not been released, Herman added.

Herman said two girls told school authorities about the accusations and an investigation was launched.

Investigators seized the teacher's cell phone to review its contents and also seized his personal computer at his home because some students accused him of trying to leave them messages on their online social networking Web sites, Herman said.
