SAN ANTONIO - Police are looking into the death of a 2-year-old girl. The guardian of the child called EMS after the girl stopped breathing Sunday afternoon. It happened at the Raintree Apartments near 2400 Oakhill Rd.
Police tell News 4 the child had suspicious bruising all over the body. The guardian reportedly told police the child was sick and given Motrin and Benadryl. Emergency responders say that 2-year old was lethargic and then never regained consciousness.
An autopsy will be performed later on Monday to determine the cause of death. So far, no charges have been filed.
