Isaiah and Destiny Ornelas

FRESNO, Texas—A few hours after authorities in Fort Bend County issued an Amber Alert for two young siblings, the children were found by police in Elgin.
According to the preliminary investigation, Isaiah and Destiny Ornelas were under the temporary custody of CPS when they were placed with their aunt in Fresno.
On Thursday, CPS was ordered to put the kids in foster care.
Before CPS officials could get to the aunt’s house, the children’s parents, Brigido Ornelas and Nakeesha Godfrey, allegedly removed Isaiah and Destiny from the home and stole the aunt’s car.
Elgin police pulled the family over around midnight. It was unclear if the parents were arrested.
